Refuse to be SAD

Hey, all J
As winter is coming along, I noticed (and surely you did too) that the colors all around the city are getting darker and duller. Girls, guys, men and women slip into their fall/winter clothes, mainly dark colors, brown, black, and grey. Why is this?

Researching and asking friends and relatives of their opinion on this issue, I came along with the term “Season Affective Disorder”. SAD comes along in mid fall, lasts all winter long, and gradually goes away in spring. Without getting into much detail, I will only add that the symptoms for SAD are stress and depression, increased need for sleep, lack of energy, and constant craving for snacks and sweets. Sadly, all of these are usually accompanied by weight gain.

Armenian Party Dresses

Ok, girls, now you’re invited to a wedding or engagement party or the “Last Bell” party?
The first problem, OMG I’ve got nothing to wear. And the terrible cloth searching times begin.
Sounds familiar?

First steps: visiting Tashir, Hayastan, Rossia, learning by heart all the boutiques of Abovyan street, feeling tired, feeling depressed, calling all your friends and being informed that they’ve faced/are facing/will face the same problem, writing a status on facebook, reading complaints and advices to order a dress in an atelier, realizing there’s no time for the order, searching google, online clothing websites and finding plenty of beautiful dresses, again feeling depressed….

Have you just experienced the feeling of a "Déjà vu"? Then continue reading this article. :)
